I remember growing up with daddy reading anything that he could find with Louis L’Amour’s name on it.
Just about everything he wrote about was westerns with the exceptions of a few other books.
I know many times, daddy would come over on a Sunday. He would lay in our front porch swing and after a few hours get up and hand me a book he had just finished reading.
I kept them all and then I started reading them myself. Anytime I could find some, I would get one or two and add them to our collection.
We didn’t really care about reading any of the other authors who were out there.
Daddy has been gone for nearly 25 years now. I finally decided last week that I think I am going to see if I can sell the huge collection I have accumulated.
Many of these books have only been read once or twice and are like new.
If anyone is interested they can get in touch with me and I may sell them for the right price.
I have over 200 books with 159 being paper backs, 20 leather-bound and 22 hardback books.
