HAWKINSVILLE, Ga. — Glen Owen Carroll, 85, of Hawkinsville, passed away on Friday, August 8, 2025.
Graveside service was held Tuesday, August 12, at Friendship Cemetery with Kenneth Gregory officiating.
Carroll was born on August 22, 1939, to Ellis and Etha Mizell Carroll in Jacksonville, Fla. He was a self-employed logger and a member of the Baptist faith. He was a Boy Scout leader and loved fishing and watching Westerns on T.V. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ellis and Etha Mizell Carroll.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia Carroll; sons, Michael Carroll (Michelle), and Gregg Carroll (Veronda); daughter, Lisa Garland; stepchildren, Kathy Liggett (Fred), and Mary Ann Gregory (Kenneth); brothers, Irvin Carroll and see OBITS, Page 4A Douglas Carroll; sisters, Jeanette Blum and Faye Gartin; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
