Break up your fallow ground

What does it take to plow the landscape? How does one plow when they are out of alignment? Why is one plowing an area that has been plowed before?

These questions display a facade that is seemingly agriculturally based, but not. At the core of the questions, what should resonate with every blood-bought believer, is salvation and the Holy Ghost.

It also opens corridors for expansion of growth with quantified results. Case in point, as believers break up the fallow ground in our lives. It starts at our front door and goes through our backyards. First things first, ministry begins at home and spreads abroad.

“Break up your fallow ground, and do not sow among thorns.”

— Jeremiah 4: 3 As the believer breaks the fallow ground in their sphere, territory is taken back. The resolve for the believer is to go higher. Many believers tend to become complacent in infancy, never really exercising their muscles of faith, grit of boldness, platitudes of integrity, and guard rails of peace.

How do we know all goes back to our relationship with our Heavenly Father? When advancing the Kingdom is the objective, it also sets the tone. Moving forward with Him as our Chief Architect. So then taking back territory emulates, taking down structures and rebuilding according to His strategy for our lives.

I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. (1 Corinthians 3: 6) Many times we erect structures never inquiring of the Lord.

If He’s not in inside, they’re just structures. In this season, He pointed out construction where the people were the architects. They never sought God and or disobeyed Him.

The end result was the construction was never completed. To get understanding, if God is not the Author and Finisher, He is not obligated.

What is the man that You are mindful of, and the son of the man that You visit him? (Psalm 8: 4) There are so many moving parts to advancing the Kingdom of God. Another thing is that God is not one-sided. He always confirms His word out of the mouth of two or three witnesses.

Be mindful, His plan withstands human indecision and calamity, as He is not the author of confusion. Our relationship with the Father is sure to yield assignments that unveil purpose, proximity, and clarity.

Admittedly, he never reveals the plan all at once. He expands and releases details as we complete steps in the process. There are those assigned to take down walls, those assigned to build, and of course, those to take back territory.

He is sure to reveal to us the regions that necessitate change to be plowed. Thereby breaking up the fallow ground.

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you from being priest to Me. (Hosea 4: 6) The way to plow is with the Word of God. When the Word of God combats sin, that is how the walls come down or are built. If the word of God wasn’t the deconstructor, that wall wouldn’t come down.

And the territory would not be taken back. God is faithful, and He will continue to send instruments to break up the fallow ground.

To some people we are a deadly fragrance, while to others we are a life-giving fragrance. Who is qualified to tell you about Christ? (2 Corinthians 2: 16) Ultimately, believers must be fully persuaded not to waiver from God's direction and plan for our lives.

Often, as believers, we think we’re supposed to do one thing. When truly God never assigned us to do that task.

We’ll know when we are in our God-ordained purpose and place because things will begin to flow like a river. If you don’t see change happening, seek the Father while He may be found.

Salvation and the Holy Ghost come first. He must abide in us before the Father assigns us to take back territory, thereby breaking up the fallow ground.

Make no mistake, as the facade has been changed and adorned.

He is sure to leave a lasting impression that can’t be undone.

Finishing the assignment, the soil is plowed and as the fragrance emanates, the atmosphere is plentiful.
