Pierce County moved to 5-0 for the 2025 season winning all four games during last week.
The Lady Bears rolled to a 11-2 victory Tuesday, August 5 at Charlton County. They followed with a 5-2 win Thursday, August 7 at Thomson. PCHS blanked Glascock County (8-0) and Lakeside-Evans (4-0) Friday, August 8 on the road.
The Lady Bears traveled Tuesday, August 12 to Guyton to face South Effingham. They close out the week playing twice Saturday, August 16 in the Burke County tournament.

FOLKSTON — Pierce County built a 92 lead in the first two innings en route to a five-inning “run rule” victory over the Maidens.
The Lady Bears plated four runs in the first frame and five more in the second after Charlton County tallied its only two runs in the bottom of the first. PCHS added two runs in the fifth inning for the final margin.

THOMSON — The Lady Bears spotted host Thomson a 2-0 lead before battling back with the final five runs for the win.
The Lady Bulldogs dented the plate twice in their half of the first for a tworun advantage.
PCHS took the lead for good with a three-run top of the second and added two insurance runs in the fifth.

AUGUSTA — PCHS slowly pulled away from Glascock County after plating three runs in the third inning.
The Lady Bears, who banged out a season-high 11 hits, extended the lead to 50 in the fifth and scored three final runs in the sixth.

AUGUSTA — The Lady Bears’ pitching staff extended its scoreless streak to 17 innings with the shutout of Lakeside-Evans.
