A Ware County teenager reported missing Saturday, August 2, has been located safely at a Pierce County location, the Ware County Sheriff’s Office said Monday.
Rylee Ann Morris, 17 was found in Pierce County by Ware County Sheriff’s Office Detectives with the assistance of the Pierce County Sheriff's Office.
Morris, 5-foot-6, 130 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes, was last seen by her family around 7:45 p.m. Saturday, authorities said.
It was reported she was picked up by someone known to the family about five miles away from her house in the 6100 block of Swamp Road. At that time, Morris was wearing a gray T-shirt, cut-off jean shorts, carrying a pink/flower pattern bookbag and wearing brown sandals.
WCSO deputies were able to trace her whereabouts to a location within Pierce County. They requested Pierce County Deputies check the residence.
Pierce County authorities reported Morris had left prior to their arrival.
A witness said she had departed with an unknown person in a vehicle from the location in Pierce County.
