TALLAHASSEE – Florida State senior quarterback Thomas Castellanos has been named to the Maxwell Award Watch List, presented annually to the most outstanding player in college football.
Castellanos, a Ware County High School graduate, transferred to Florida State in December after starting 20 games for Boston College in 2023-24. He appeared in five games for the University of Central Florida in 2022.
For his career, Castellanos is 297for-507 passing (59 percent) for 3,689 yards and 33 touchdowns. He also 1,427 rushing yards and 15 rushing touchdowns.
