NAHUNTA — Southside Baptist Church played host to the annual breakfast for all of Brantley County school system-wide personnel Monday morning.
Southside Baptist Church serves all teachers, staff and administration a hearty breakfast at the beginning of the new school year.
Superintendent Kim Morgan spoke on the incredible progress of his Brantley County School System made last year. She also gave thanks to the enormous amount of hard work and discipline of the employees.
“Brantley County Schools employees are eager and ready to begin the 2025-26 school year,” said Dr. Morgan. “We are excited about the progress our schools made toward literacy and academic goals last year and cannot wait to see what new heights they reach this year.
“On behalf of the Brantley County Board of Education, I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation to our fabulous employees for pouring their hearts into helping our students succeed.”
Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment Dr. Angela Haney was enthusiastic about the return of students and teachers into the classrooms.
She expressed her commitment to making sure every child in Brantley County receives a topnotch education this school year.
“There is no better feeling than welcoming our Brantley County students back to campus,” Dr. Haney said. “Our BC family is excited and ready to reach every child and to help all of our kids take flight toward bright futures as leaders in their careers and communities.”
