Waycross Police responded about 2 a.m. Monday to a call for shots being fired in the Garlington Heights neighborhood, WPD Major Danny Hampton said.
Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Garlington Avenue in response to the call to find a bullet hole in the window of a residence, Hampton said.
The incident has been turned over to detectives in WPD’s Crime Scene Investigation Unit, he said.
