WAYCROSS – Memorial Satilla Health is proud to announce the arrival of its newest cohort of nurse residents.

The group of newly graduated registered nurses are embarking on a comprehensive, year-long Nurse Residency Program.

This initiative underscores Memorial Satilla’s dedication to fostering the next generation of nursing professionals and ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care within the community.

The residency program is designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and clinical practice, providing new nurses with the essential skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to thrive in a complex healthcare environment.

“We are incredibly excited to welcome this new cohort of nurse residents to our team,” said Dr. Celeste Brizzee, CNO. “Our Nurse Residency Program exemplifies our commitment to nursing excellence. It provides a supportive and dynamic learning environment where new graduates can develop into highly skilled and compassionate nurses, ultimately benefiting our patients, strengthening our healthcare workforce and enhancing our community’s access to expert medical services.”

“We are dedicated to providing these new nurses with the tools and resources they need to build confidence,” said Greg O’Quinn, VP of Human Resources, “hone their clinical skills, and become integral members of our healthcare team.'
