Georgia District 174 State Rep. James Burchett of Millwood (second from left) was the guest speaker at this month’s Ware County Republican Party meeting. Burchett is flanked by (left) Wilmer Davis, along with Jim Arnold and Sharon Vickers, members of the local fundraising committee. The committee held the drawing for its gun raffle during the meeting, and Chris Davis and Burchett had their tickets drawn for the two prizes. The Ware County GOP meets at 6 p.m. on the third Monday of each month at Hog ‘n’ Bones Restaurant.
