The Pierce County Library Board's quarterly meeting was canceled last Wednesday afternoon due to lack of quorum.
Three Rivers Regional Library Director Jeremy Snell said the meeting will be rescheduled as soon as possible.
Library board acting chairperson Mandy Williams and board member Malayna Wetherington were the only members present at the meeting. Board members Lana Blankenship, Austin Burgess and Jackie Moses were not present. The board currently has two vacancies since the board of education pulled out of funding the library last year. The two vacant seats are expected to be filled by the county commission at the commission’s regular meeting set for August 5.
