Generous Giving campaign reaches over 20K

Cord of 3’s 7th Annual Generous Giving Campaign raised $20,960 during May and June to provide free counseling and support services to local families. These funds will directly serve students from middle school through college and their families—offering faith-based care during life’s most pivotal years.

More than 220 hours of counseling and support have already been generated from the campaign, made possible by donations from people in Pierce and surrounding counties. The donations are being channeled into the Generous Giving Campaign 2025 Fund, which helps families access critical services regardless of financial ability.

“The teenage and young adult years shape not only a person’s identity, but also their future,” said April Mitchell, Advancement Director at Cord of 3. “Families are facing real challenges— emotionally, relationally and spiritually. We believe no family should walk through those struggles alone.”

Cord of 3 works closely with parents, pastors and school counselors to provide services such as counseling, discipleship programs and family guidance tailored to help young people grow strong in character.

“But the heart of this campaign goes beyond programs— it’s about passing the baton of generational faith,” said Mitchell. “We’re raising up young people who will not only stand firm in their faith, but also influence others for God’s Kingdom.”

Free counseling services through the Generous Giving Campaign are available now through December 31 or until funds are exhausted. To see if your family qualifies, call 912282-0992 or visit www.cordofthreecounseling. org.

Cord of 3 is a local faithbased counseling center that supports individuals and families navigating everything from anxiety and depression to grief and trauma. For more information, contact April Mitchell at [email protected].
