The 21st annual Walter A. Sr. and Earnestine Lewis Myles Honor Day will be held at noon Saturday, August 2 at the Empowerment Center International Ministries, 489 Georgia Highway 206 Connector.
A scholarship fund in memory of Walter and Earn estine Myles has been established.
During the annual program, a number of scholarships are awarded to deserving students to help them further their education. The application process is open to students throughout the area. The only requirement to apply is students must be enrolled in college or technical school for at least one year. Recipients of the scholarship will be recognized during the honor day event.
