GUM BRANCH – Barbara Elaine Knight, 76, passed away Friday, July 25, 2025, in Jesup.
Mrs. Knight was a native of Waynesville and had lived in Gum Branch since 1977. She retired from the Long County school system, had worked for Debbie Cakes in Rye Patch, and was a homemaker.
Mrs. Knight was a member of Gum Branch Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Knight; son, Paul M. Knight; and siblings, Mary, Delores, Knight
James, John, Perry, Wilmer and Alfred.
Survivors are several nieces, nephews and longtime friends.
A funeral service was held Sunday, July 27 at Howard Funeral Home in Ludowici with Rev. Thomas Drury and Pastor Joe Manning officiating.
