Mobley Clarence Mobley

WAYNESVILLE — Clarence Mobley, 78 of Waynesville and former resident of Brunswick, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2025.

The Wayne County native was a Baptist and former owner of Island Decorators.

Mobley loved to watch NASCAR, wrestling, fishing and westerns. Guitar playing and singing old country songs was most remembered by his family.

His wife of 42 years, Judy Morgan Mobley, preceded him in death along with their son, Bryan Mobley; several siblings, including a special brother, Jake Mobley and sister, Janice Howell.

Survivors are his grandsons, Kyle and Kevin Mobley, both of Waynesville; two sisters, Ermine Whitley of Jesup and Mary Weaver of South Carolina; several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held Monday, July 28, 2025 at Rinehart Chapel with Rev. Tom Maddux officiating.

A private burial was held previously in Rob Lewis Cemetery in Raybon, Ga.

Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home of Jesup was in charge of arrangements.
