Porter, Sanders cited for service

The women of Delta Zeta Chapter of Phi Delta Kappa, Inc. educational sorority recently recognized Dr. Mesiah Porter, Jr. and Oneida Oliver Sanders with awards for outstanding community service. The two citizens have gone above and beyond to provide services in the community and give back to others in the form of scholarships, words of encouragement, and numerous community outreach projects among many other acts of service to earn the sorority’s honor. Dr. Porter, Jr. operates Porter Healthcare Solutions, which provides psychiatric and mental health care in his hometown of Waycross. Oliver Sanders (inset) directs operations of the Sgt. Kennedy L. Sanders Foundation, created to honor her late daughter.
