MSH gets new residents

Special to the WJH

Memorial Satilla Health recently welcomed three new residents to the family medicine residency program.

Eric Belcher, MD, Breveenn Kukan, MD, and Laura Henein, DO, will complete two years of their residency program in Waycross.

“I extend a warm welcome to our new residents.” said Mitch Mongell, interim Chief Executive Officer at Memorial Satilla Health. “We are excited to provide them with the learning environment, mentorship and diverse clinical experiences necessary to excel in their education.

“We look forward to supporting their growth as they become integral members of our healthcare team. Our new residents will be contributing directly to the health and well-being of this community.”

The residents come to Memorial Satilla from their last residency assignment at Memorial Health University Health Center in Savannah.

They join fellow residents Madhavi Madupuri, MD, Kimberly Mathurin, MD, Mary Catherine Barnes Stewart, MD, and Xiang You, MD who are in their third year of residency at Memorial Satilla.
