BRUNSWICK — Peggy Ann Roberts, 71 of Brunswick and formerly of Hortense, passed away peacefully at her home Wednesday, July 16, 2025, surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Roberts was born August 20, 1953 in Brunswick to Geraldine Flynt Rowland and Walter Raiford Rowland. She graduated from Brunswick High School and remained a proud member of the Brunswick community throughout her life.
Mrs. Roberts worked at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) for nearly 20 years, where she made lasting friendships and found deep purpose in supporting the mission and the students. She truly loved her FLETC family and students, and was known for her kindness, dedication, and warm spirit.
She found her greatest joy in spending time with her family and friends. Mrs. Roberts especially loved going on vacation to Disney World, where she created many cherished memories with the people she loved most.
Mrs. Roberts will be remembered for her loving heart, radiant smile, and her unwavering devotion to those around her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Geraldine and Walter Rowland; her sister, Donna Jean Piper; and her uncle, Donald Flynt.
Mrs. Roberts is survived by her husband, Brian Roberts; her brother Chris Rowland (Annella); her three daughters, Donna Barnard (Avery), Rebecca Morris (Billy), and Rhonda Vinson (Michael); 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be held August 20, 2025, on the beach. Time and location will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Mrs. Roberts’ memory to cancer research.
