HORTENSE — Brantley Animal Rescue Coalition is proud to announce the opening of a new dog boarding kennel — BARC Bed and Bath — at 500 Happy Hollow, Hortense.
“We (BARC) have been providing a community service in this area helping re-home homeless and abandoned pets since 2010,” Lois Vassilion, head of BARC Rescue. “We have now opened a dog boarding kennel named BARC Bed and Bath.
“We have a brand new building with heat and air conditioning, large pet enclosures, a professional grooming bath and table, and a private playground for outside time. We will also be installing live video cameras inside and outside of our facility to enable our customers to have access to viewing their pets 24/7.”
Vassilion said the new 920-square foot facility, which will house 20 animals, is offering reasonable rates with top of the line quality care for fur babies, which has always been our specialty.
“All revenue goes to BARC Rescue to further support the community in our efforts to leave no dog behind,” said Vassilion. “This will finance the best care available for our rescued pets and we will provide that same care for our boarders.”
The new facility was approved Thursday, July 3 by the Brantley County Commission.
