Members of the Waycross Exchange Club on the “Give a Kid a Flag to Wave” program committee were at Laura S. Walker State Park distributing small American flags to children at the 4th of July celebration to foster patriotism and respect for the flag. It aims to cultivate national pride among young people, enhance community engagement, and promote the Exchange Club’s presence. The members pictured are Mary Barnes, Sondra Crews, Louise Snyder, Jimmy Strickland, James Stapleton,and David Johnson, who distributed flags to 14 children.
