Donna Jean Williams, 77, affectionately known as “Nuna”, died Friday morning, July 11, 2025, at Hospice Satilla Hospice House in Waycross, after an extended illness.
She was born December 15, 1947 in Davie, FL to the late Austin Cumbie Robertson and Anna Mae Carey Robertson. She lived most of her life in Blackshear as a homemaker and she was a member of New Life Church. She enjoyed listening to gospel music, going to the beach and watching movies and her birds.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dock Cecil Williams; her daughter, Jenny Sweat; grandson, Payton Adams; sisters, Patricia Parker, Betty Brown and Linda Robertson and brothers, Winfred, Donald and Kenneth Robertson.
Survivors include three daughters, Joanna Yarbrough (Terry), Blackshear, Amy Poole (Dale), Waycross and Anna Cohill (John), Nokomis, FL; seven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday, July 16), from the Music Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery.
