Sam Stovall (left photo) and Fred Willock (right photo) had their names attached to two of the scholarships. Stovall teamed up with Dan Lott to win the Class AA state doubles tennis title as a freshman in 1965. He lost in the singles’ semifinals in 1966 and 1968. He fell in the “Elite 8” in 1967. Willock coached at Ware County High School. Hank Aldridge and Greg Sirmans (center photo) are Ware County alumni and GGF representatives.
