‘Fun Friday Water Day’ is Friday, July 11 WAYNESVILLE — Waynesville Missionary Baptist Church will host “Fun Friday Water Day” July 11 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m.
Dinner, water slides, slip ‘n slide, indoor games, devotion, worship and lots of fun. All ages are welcome.
120th Hortense Wesleyan Camp underway
HORTENSE — Hortense Wesleyan Camp will hold its 120th annual Camp Meeting beginning July 24.
The 11-day camp runs through the Sunday, August 3 morning service.
The opening Thursday, July 24 service begins at 7:30 p.m. Services twice a day being Friday, July 25 with the first at 11 a.m., and the second at 7:30 p.m. The Sunday, August 3 service will begin at 11 a.m.
Rev. Ralph Clayton and Rev. George Holley will be the Evangelists for the meetings. Arthur and Michelle Sharpe will be the Song Evangelists.
