NAHUNTA — Rachel Boone Rugulo, 61 of Nahunta, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2025 at her residence following an extended illness.
Born in Ronoake Rapids, N.C., Mrs. Ruglo’s parents were Franklin B. Boone and Peggy Elizabeth Smith Boone. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Rugulo; her sister, Sandra Boone; and two brothers, Timothy Boone and Bobby Ray Boone.
Mrs. Ruglo enjoyed fishing, painting and spending time with her family. She loved to take care of others.
Survivors include her daughter, Tabitha Kilgore, of Nahunta; two grandchildren, Kacie Bissette and Dalton Kilgore; three brothers, Samuel Boone of Nashville, N.C., Ralph Boone of Nahunta and David Boone of Homerville; also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
