
Nobles
MACCLENNY, Fla. — Johnny Calvin Nobles, Sr., 84 of MacClenny, Fla., passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital after an extended illness.
Born in Live Oak, Fla., Nobles’ parents were Johnny Raymond Nobles and Elsie Elizab eth Stegman Nobles. He is also preceded in death by a grandson, James Darrell Nobles, Jr.; two sisters, Marie Thomas and Alberta Anderson; and two brothers, Bert Anderson and Edward Sowell.
Nobles was a carman for Norfork Southern Railroad and enjoyed being a backyard mechanic, tinkering and fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Theresa Nobles of MacClenny, Fla.; five sons and daughters-in-law, Johnny-Todd Nobles (Rhonda) of MacClenny, Fla., Douglas Scott Nobles of Tennessee, Johnny Calvin Nobles, Jr. (Amy) of Middleburg, Fla., James Darrell Nobles, Sr.
(Michelle) of Middleburg, Fla., and Jeffery Raymond Nobles of MacClenny, Fla.; a daughter and sonin- law, Tina Carver (Randy) of Nichols, Ga.; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
A graveside service was held Saturday morning, July 5, 2025 at Bethlehem Cemetery with Rev. Randy Wainright officiating.
Arrangements were with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
