Colleen Mary Sutherland Saren, 69, of Blackshear, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2025, at her residence.
Born in Detroit, MI June 30, 1955, she lived in Michigan most of her life prior to moving to Pierce County seven years ago. She retired from Rite Aid where she had been a manager for many years. She attended St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Waycross and was known as the sweetest, loving person.
She was the daughter of the late Ward Edward and Barbara Helen Campbell Sutherland. She was also preceded in death by a step-son, Eric Matthew Saren and her beloved pets, Paddles, Magie and Rags.
Survivors include her husband of 21 years, Eric Saren, Blackshear; two sons, Gary Hoover Jr. and Christopher Hoover both of Michigan; a step-daughter, Erica M Hoover, Lincoln Park, MI; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and her pet dogs, Peanut and Daisy, as well as her pet cat, Trouble.
Memorialization is by cremation.
