WAYCROSS - Mrs. Peggy Ann Crews, 88, passed away Saturday, June 14, 2025, at her residence in Waycross following a short illness.
She was born in Ware County to the late Clinton Lamar Clark and Nellie Jewell C1 e 1 a n d Clark. She was a certified nursing assistant for more than 30 years and employed at Ware Manor Nursing Home and the Tebeau House for many years.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Crews, Sr.; her son, Billy Crews, Jr.; and a brother, C.L. Clark.
Mrs. Crews is survived by her two daughters, Cheryl Lynn Crews and Lisa Cox both of Waycross; two grandchildren, Michael Crews (Jennifer) of Waycross, and Valarie Sandiford (Joshua) of Waycross; four great grandchildren, Michael Ray Crews, Paisley Lynn Crews, Wyatt Lando Crews, and Olivia Sandiford; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held Wednesday at the Music Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Hoboken City Cemetery.
