Helen Gladine Taylor

Taylor WAYCROSS - Mrs. Helen Gladine Taylor, 74, passed away suddenly Monday, June 16, 2025, at her residence in Waycross.

She was born in Waycross to the late A.F. Justice and Ellen Griffin Justice. She had lived all of her life in Ware County, graduating in 1969 from Ware County High School. She previously worked for Ware County School Nutrition and was currently working with Bulldog Gaming where she was planning her retirement for July 7.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her first husband, Gregory Taylor, Sr.; two sisters, Frances Bunch and Yvonne Howell; and second husband, Benny Wayne Bennett.

She is survived by three children, Gregory Taylor, Jr. (Dana) of Waycross, Stephen Taylor of Waycross, and Bill Bennett of Hoboken; four grandchildren, Kelcey Taylor (Brandon Maxwell) of Waycross, Danielle Young (Dakota) of McMinnville, Tenn., Sierra Green (Marcus) of Waycross, and Stephen Taylor, Jr. (Mary Hannah Carter) of Waycross; two great grandchildren, Oakley Young and Mabry Green; two sisters, Geraldine Tillman (Gary) of Waycross, and Evelyn Nettles of Waycross; one brother, Wendell Justice (Denise) of Waycross; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A funeral service was held Thursday, June 19 at the Music Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Kettle Creek Cemetery.
