WAYCROSS — Mrs. Helen Gladine Taylor, 74, passed away suddenly Monday, June 16, 2025 at her residence in Waycross.

Mrs. Taylor was born in Waycross to the late A.F. Justice and Ellen Griffin Justice. She had lived all of her life in Ware County graduating in 1969 from Ware County High School.

Mrs. Taylor prev iously worked for Ware County School Nutrition and was currently working with Bulldog Gaming where she was planning her retirement for Monday, July 7.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Taylor was also preceded in death by her first husband, Gregory Taylor, Sr.; two sisters, Frances Bunch and Yvonne Howell; and second husband, Benny Wayne Bennett.

Mrs. Taylor is survived by three children, Gregory Taylor, Jr. (Dana) of Waycross, Stephen Taylor of Waycross and Bill Bennett of Hoboken; four grandchildren, Kelcey Taylor (Brandon Maxwell) of Waycross, Danielle Young (Dakota) of McMinnville, Tenn., Sierra Green (Marcus) of Waycross and Stephen Taylor, Jr. (Mary Hannah Carter) of Waycross; two great grandchildren, Oakley Young and Mabry Green; two sisters, Geraldine Tillman (Gary) of Waycross and Evelyn Nettles of Waycross; one brother, Wendell Justice (Denise) of Waycross; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A funeral service was held Thursday, June 19, 2025 at the Music Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial followed in Kettle Creek Cemetery.

Music Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
