Special to The Beacon The Brantley County Retired Educators Association installed new officers and received updates concerning the Georgia Retired Educators Association during its May meeting.
GREA Area 4 Director Carol Morgan briefed the local chapter on recent changes in the state organization, as well as little- known opportunities from GREA like a special state-level scholarship directed toward paraprofessionals who are working on degrees to transition to teaching positions.
