In partnership with the Chamber of Commerce, Pierce County Family Connection has created a special coloring sheet to get kids involved in emergency preparedness, “Lil Bear is Prepared”.
Parents, grandparents and other caregivers are encouraged to go to www.facebook.com/Pier ceCounty.Chamber, print out the activity sheet and have their children color it as a summer activity. Coloring sheets are also available for pickup at the chamber.
Once finished, the completed coloring sheets can be dropped back off at the chamber office to be entered in a drawing for a sidewalk chalk and accessory set and a 'Going to the Sea Park' book.
All coloring sheets must have the guardians name and contact information on the back in order to be registered for the drawing. Date of the giveaway will be July 31st.
If outside of regular chamber hours, coloring sheets may be dropped in black mailbox on the outside of the chamber building across from the park (green door with ferns) at 200 SW Central Ave. in Blackshear.
