• Corey Aaron Allen, 28, was arrested and charged with felony fleeing or attempting to eude law enforcement, misdemeanor - reckless driving, turning position signals required, driving while license susp ended, failure to register vehicle, failure to drive within single lane, improper passing, failure to stop for stop sign, no insurance, unlawful use of central lane, failure to obey traffic control device and speeding.
K-9 Sergeant Michael James attempted to conduct a traffic stop in Pierce County May 28. Allen, operating a motorcycle, allegedly led law enforcement on a chase reaching speeds up to 100 m.p.h.
After an investigation, Allen was identified as the driver and was arrested June 9.
• Dustin Lee Sauls, 41, and Cierra Carlene Chancey, 36, were arrested May 30.
Both were charged with felony - possession of cocaine, two counts of possession of a schedule III controlled substance and misdemeanor - drugs not in original container.
Sauls was additionally charged with possession of a schedule II cont rolled substance. Aggressive Criminal Enforcement (ACE) Unit Investigators Greg Nettles and Corey Belue and Lt. Brad Justice were requested by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation to serve warrants on Sauls and Chancey for charges in Appling County. Sauls and Chancey were then arrested.
• Tony Daniel Herrin, 51, was arrested Sunday, June 8, and charged with felony possession of methamp hetamine, misdemeanor no proof of insurance and suspended registration. K-9 Sergeant Michael James conducted a traffic stop in Pierce County that led to Herrin’s arrest.
