Pierce County Sheriff’s Office recently observed Peace Officers Memorial Day. The Office of the Sheriff cooked hamburgers, hot dogs and French fries for the occasion on the courthouse grounds. “On this day we pay our respects to those who have paid the ultimate price for our safety and security and recognition those who serve in that capacity every day,” said Sheriff Ramsey Bennett.
