Cord of Three solicits generous givers to help ‘Pass the Baton’

Cord of Three yearly fundraising season is underway from now through June 30. The Christian oriented counselling service’s goal is to raise $50,000 to foster partnerships with youth pastors, school counselors and fathers to help the next generation as part of their “Passing the Baton” campaign.

In a world that constantly challenges truth and values, the call to equip the next generation has never been more urgent. The next generation— middle school through college—is navigating a pivotal season of life, one that shapes their character, faith and future. The question is: who will guide them?

“At Cord of Three, we believe in the power of generational faith, where one generation intentionally passes the baton of God’s truth, love, and grace to the next,” said Clay Gill, executive director of Cord of Three. “Our 2025 Generous Giving Campaign is dedicated to partnering with our community to equip young people to grow into faithful, strong and Christ-centered individuals.”

The slate of programs in need of funding focus on empowering the next generation to stand firm in their faith and influence others for God’s Kingdom. Cord of Three seeks donations to assist with various programs including: ▪ Provide counseling services for families by helping them navigate the challenges of raising the next generation and reinforcing the foundation of faith at home.

▪ Support youth pastors with a toolbox of resources to help families “pass the baton” of faith, love and truth to their children.

▪ Equip school counselors with a unique guidance program designed to help them impart a legacy of faith and truth to the students they work with daily.

▪ Empower fathers with a tailored discipleship program, recognizing their pivotal role in shaping their children’s spiritual lives and long-term faithfulness.

Cord of 3 seeks contributing partners for their yearly campaign to impact the next generation and their families, building strong Christian character and anchoring them God’s Word. Here’s how you can get involved: ▪ Make a donation – Every gift directly funds counseling services, resources, and support packages that will make a lasting difference in families, churches, and schools.

▪ Sponsor a program – Join us in sponsoring specific initiatives like family counseling or youth pastor resources, ensuring your impact reaches where it’s needed most.

▪ Spread the word – Share our vision with your friends, family, and community to expand our reach and inspire more partnerships.

“Together, we can make an impact with this generation and equip them with the tools, faith and support they need to step into adulthood as faithful and courageous followers of Christ,” said Gill. “Let’s take on the privilege and responsibility of passing the baton to the next generation.”

The campaign will run until June 30. If you would like to help support one of these communities, you may donate directly online at Cotcs.org or mail your contributions to Cord of Three, P.O. Box 1176, Blackshear, GA 31516.
