Hacklebarney Baptist Church hosts VBS Hacklebarney Baptist Church will have Vacation Bible School starting with a kickoff event on Saturday, June 21 from 3:305:30 p.m. with a water slide and a meal. VBS classes and activities will be from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Sunday, June 22-Wednesday, June 25. The theme for this year is MAGNIFIED, “Discovering the Bigness of God in the Smallest of Things'” based on Psalms 34:3. Everyone is invited. Youmans Chapel holds ‘Magnified’ VBS Youmans Chapel Baptist Church on Dean Still Road in Blackshear, will host VBS with the theme “Magnified”, June 22-26. Supper will be served 5:15 p.m. each day. There will be classes for ages three through adult. A nursery will also be provided. Adults will have a lesson each night followed by fellowship with games and desserts. Abundant Life hosts women’s conference Abundant Life Christian Center will host a women’s conference from 9:30 a.m.-noon Saturday, June 28.

Kingsville Cemetery Kingsville Cemetery near Offerman needs financial help for expansion and upkeep.
The cemetery, located off of Gardenia Drive near Mossy Pond Retrievers, is the community’s historic African-American burying ground.
Donations are being sought to maintain the cemetery and to complete site preparation for an expansion.

Foster/Clay Hill Cemetery
Efforts are underway to organize an upkeep/maintenance plan for the Foster/Clay Hill Cemetery near Offerman in Pierce County.
Those who have relatives buried there are asked to join to improve the clean up and maintenance situation at the cemetery. Families buried there include Wasdin, Winn, Kelly, Cason, Tyre, Thornton, Brauda, Boyette and others. Those interested in organizing a committee to care for the cemetery are asked to call Carla Mellott at (904) 7043344 or send her a private message on Facebook.
Winn Cemetery
Anyone who has family buried at Winn Cemetery located on Thomas Cemetery Road in Blackshear, is asked to send a donation to help pay for the upkeep and maintenance of the cemetery. Burials of those who are not family members of those buried in the Winn Cemetery will incur a fee of $150.
Checks should be made payable to Winn Cemetery Fund, 968 Loper Rd., Hortense, GA 31543.

Big Creek Cemetery near K-ville is accepting donations to pay for the maintenance and upkeep of the cemetery.
An account has been opened for the Big Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery at Pineland Bank in Baxley.

Gethsemane
The Gethsemane Cemetery Committee of Patterson is asking that all family members who have family buried in the cemetery to please send a financial donation when possible to ensure the cemetery is kept up, no donation is too small. All are appreciated.
We would like to remind the community of their donation and burial plot notice. Any money given to the committee as a donation (helping to clean cemetery) does not go toward one’s burial plot. If one should want to pay toward one’s plot this should be denoted in writing at the time the money is given to the committee. Burial plots are $450 each. All family/friends are asked to take all trash with you when you clean around burial plots.
