Susan Haddock, the Executive Director of the Children’s Initiative, was a recent guest speaker at the Waycross Exchange Club. Haddock (second from left) spoke to the necessity of having a statewide collaborative addressing the needs of all the children in Georgia. Ware County was one of the first communities to volunteer to participate in the 1991 pilot program (Family Connections) created by then-Gov. Zell Miller.
