24 Brantley Countians receive SGSC honors

Special to The Beacon A total of 627 South Georgia State College students, including 24 from Brantley County, earned a spot on the Spring 2025 Academic Recognition Lists, according to an announcement Monday, June 16 by Vice President for Academic & Student Affairs, Sara Selby.

There were 166 students earning a spot on the President’s List, 161 on the Dean’s List, and 300 on the Academic Honors List.

Students enrolled in 12 or more semester hours of study with a grade point average of 4.0 are placed on the President’s List for the semester.

Earning spots on the President’s List were Reagan E. Bowers, Taylor R. Crews, Macayla A. Dunsmore, Kelley Griffin, Jordan Harper, Alexis Harper, Maggie Harris, Raygen R. Helmuth, Kathryn Lee, Garrett W. Musgrove, Jonathan D. Page, Calen M. Raulerson, Belinda A. Todd, Kinsley Townsend and Bennett L. Williams.

Students with a semester average of 3.5 to 3.9 on 12 or more semester hours of study are placed on the Dean’s List.

Named to the Dean’s List were Alli C. Brooks, Zoey Z. Johnson, Mariana L. O'Berry, Lenora L. Rowe and Traci Spell.

Students enrolled in 5 to 11 semester hours of study with a grade point average of 3.5 or better are listed on the Academic Honors List for that semester.

Earning spots on the Academic Honors list were Erica P. Hall, Jaycee A. Smith, Chasadee N. Waldron and Madison L. Wilson.
