Members of the area Satilla Democrats organization (l-r) Lionel Bryan, Stan Lanier, Judith Bryan, Elizabeth Pond, Sandy Keeler, Mary Foster and Garry Foster (back) recently helped Satilla Riverkeeper Shannon Gregory with a stream cleanup at Jamestown Landing. One recliner, one large, wet carpet, one pallet, and multiple bags of trash were collected and taken to the Highway 21 Landing where a dumpster was waiting. The Satilla Riverkeeper is a 501c3 nonprofit organization founded in 2004 to protect, restore, and educate about the Satilla River, its tributaries, and watershed.
