Pierce Sheriff’s Report

• Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Related Objects, Probation Warrant: Ashley Wheeler Cade, a 43-yearold white male, was arrested Saturday, May 17 and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Related Objects and a Felony Probation Warrant (served).

Pierce County Sheriff’s K9 Sgt Michael James conducted a traffic stop in Pierce County ending with the arrest of Cade.

• Criminal Damage to Property - 2nd Degree, Obstruction of Officers and Criminal Trespass: Molly Elaine McCullers, a 47-year-old white female, was arrested Friday, May 16 and charged with Criminal Damage to Property - 2nd Degree and Obstruction of Officers and Criminal Trespass.

Pierce County Sheriff’s Deputy Jacob Holmes responded to a residence in Pierce County resulting in the arrest of McCullers.

• Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana less than 1 ounce, Possession of Drug Related Objects, Driving While License Suspended, Improper Backing, Seat Belt Violation, Traveling on Wrong Side of Roadway: Shawn Edward Spates, a 48-year-old white male, was arrested Sunday, May 25 and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana less than 1 ounce, Possession of Drug Related Objects, Driving While License Suspended, Improper Backing, Seat Belt Violation and Traveling on Wrong Side of Roadway.

• Fleeing or Attempting to Elude Police Officers, Aggravated Assault Against Law Enforcement Officers When Engaged on Official Duty, Possession of Scheduled IV Controlled Substance, Possession of Firearm or Knife During Commission of a Crime, Drugs Not in Original Container, Criminal Trespass, Open Container, Possession of Marijuana less than 1 ounce: Walter Lucious “Buck” Dixon III, a 31--year-old white male, was arrested Monday, May 26 and charged with Fleeing or Attempting to Elude Police Officers, Possession of Scheduled IV Controlled Substance (two counts), Aggravated Assault Against Law Enforcement Officers When Engaged on Official Duty, Possession of Firearm or Knife During Commission of a Crime, Drugs Not in Original Container, Criminal Trespass, Open Container and Possession of Marijuana less than 1 ounce.

Pierce County Sheriff's Deputy Colene Thrift attempted a traffic stop Tuesday, May 6 in Pierce County. Deputy Thrift requested assistance from ACE Unit Investigator Wayne Mercer and Georgia State Patrol.

After further investigation, arrest warrants were obtained resulting in the arrest of Dixon.

• Identity Theft Fraud: Viorel Cristea, a 32-year-old white male, was arrested Saturday, May 31 and charged with Identity Theft Fraud.

Pierce County Sheriff's ACE Unit Lt. Jacob Winters received a report March 23, 2025 of possible identity theft in Pierce County. After months of obtaining evidence, receiving new reports, and working with other law enforcement agencies, Cristea was arrested.
