Waycross Police are investigating a shooting that took place Monday night, May 19, Capt. Benji Hersey, Patrol Section Commander said.
WPD officers responded at about 10:30 p.m. May 19 to a call of shots fired in the 1100 block of Margaret Street.
Officers arrived to find a home on the street had been damaged by several gunshots. The home was occupied at the time, but no one was injured as a result of the shooting, Hersey said.
