WAYCROSS — Mr. Dickson Isaac Corbett, Sr., 93, of Waycross died from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Monday, May 19, 2025.
Corbett was born in Waycross to the late Ephram Franklin Corbett and Ellen Lavern Carter Corbett. He owned and operated an electrical company in Atlanta for many years before settling back in Waycross in the 1980s.
After returning to Waycross, Corbett did service work on appliances for many years before his retirement. He served as a Corporal in the United States Army.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Dickson Isaac Corbett, Jr., and Scott Corbett.
He is survived by his daughter, Robin Ann Lynch, of Savannah; three grandchildren, Charles Lynch, Jr., and his wife, April, of Atlanta, Lindsay Corbett of Griffin, and Samantha Corbett of Griffin; three great grandchildren, Charles Lynch III, Zoe Corbett, and Eddie Corbett; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
