The Waycross-Ware County Chamber of Commerce has announced the hiring of Suzanna Woodall as its president.
Woodall’s first day on the job was May 12.
“I’m honored and excited to begin my role as president of the Waycross- Ware County Chamber of Commerce,” said Woodall. “It’s a privilege to serve our vibrant business community.
“I look forward to working together to drive growth that benefits us all.”
The Bacon County native recently graduated from the University of Georgia, where she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in journalism and mass communication. As president, Woodall will oversee the Chamber’s programs and advocate for local businesses and industries within the community. She will lead the Chamber in its ongoing effort to foster economic development through the support and commitment of members, volunteers and board of directors.
Woodall said she plans to concentrate her focus on providing Chamber members with the resources, networking opportunities and advocacy needed to strengthen their businesses and drive long-term success.
“We’re excited to welcome Suzanna as our new president,” said Chamber Chairman Bryan Hartley. “She brings a fresh perspective, strong communication skills and a deep enthusiasm for supporting our local business community.
“We look forward to the innovation and energy she brings to the role as she strengthens connections across local economy.”
