Ware BOE mulling $108M FY26 budget

The Ware County Board of Education has released the tentative budget for the 2025-26 school year in accordance with Georgia state requirements.

The proposed budget reflects the district’s continued commitment to providing a high-quality education for students while maintaining fiscal responsibility and transparency.

The General Fund is $108,030,619 with $22,574,012 in Special Revenue Funds and $32,600,000 in Capital Project Funds.

Key priorities in the tentative budget include supporting academic achievement, ensuring safe and well-maintained learning environments, investing in employee compensation and benefits, and advancing strategic initiatives aligned with the district’s vision and goals.

The budget will remain available for public review prior to final adoption. Community members are encouraged to explore the document and stay informed about the district’s financial planning.

Final approval of the budget is scheduled to take place at an upcoming meeting of the Ware County Board of Education.
