DAFFODIL students learn about Shelties, science, earthworms

During Farm Day at DAFFODIL, students in the class of Belinda Moore and Jasmine Dixon enjoyed a visit from former teacher Angela Cox, her daughter Raechel Cox, and their two Shelties hearding dogs. The students learned all about the dogs from what they eat, how they need exercise, how to groom them and teach them commands. The students also got to interact with with the special breed of dogs. Carter Cook, Ellie Jeffords and Christian Miller, students in the class of Holly Thomas and Jill Hall at Daffodil Pre-K, used their pipettes to put water on their napkins to see which side of the napkin the earthworm preferred — wet or dry.
