Pierce County School Nutrition’s Summer Meal Program is now underway.
Daily meal service will be available at Pierce County High School, 4850 County Farm Road, Blackshear.
Meals will be available from 7:30-8 a.m. and from 11:30 a.m.-noon each day. Meals for Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be distributed Thursdays.
Weekly parent/guardian meal pick up sites will include: •Blackshear Elementary, 5217 Georgia Highway 121 North, Blackshear, 4-6 p.m. Tuesdays, June 10, 17, 24 and July 1.
• Pierce County Middle School, 5216 County Farm Road, Blackshear, 4-6 p.m. Tuesdays, June 10, 17, 24 and July 1.
• Patterson Elementary School, 3414 Drawdy Street, Patterson, 4-6 p.m. Tuesdays, June 10, 17, 24 and July 1.
Due to kitchen repairs, Midway Elementary will not be a summer meal program distribution site this year.
Meals are available at no cost to children ages 18 and younger.
