BRUNSWICK — Joyce “Joy” Ann Hall, 90, of Brunswick departed this life May 23, 2025 at Bayview Nursing Home in Nahunta.
Born April 13, 1935 in Miami, Fla., to the late Lewis Jerrel and Margaret Elsie S. Tombley, Mrs. Hall was a retired Registered Nurse with Sea Island Company. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
Mrs. Hall had been a resident of Glynn County since 1976. She was also a representative for American Scandinavian Student Exchange and hosted many students throughout the years.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Joseph Hall, Jr., and her brother Ronald Tombley.
Survivors include her two daughters, Leann Messersmith of Waynesville and Valree Smilek of Gainesville, Fla.; her brother, Jerrel Tombley of Trenton, Fla.; and her sister, Valree Stemple of Texas; four grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
A funeral service was conducted at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church Thursday, May 29, 2025 with Deacon Chris Sadowski officiating.
Interment was in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery in Pineview, Ga.
