ATKINSON — A Patterson man was injured when the dump truck he was driving experienced tire trouble and flip onto its side on Hwy. 110.
Robert Worthy, 58, was traveling south on State Route 110 in a 1997 Mack CH600 dump truck.
According to the May 16 report of Georgia State Trooper Chase Middleton, the vehicle experienced tire failure on the front right tire, which caused Worthy to lose control and exit the roadway onto the west shoulder.
The Hendricks Hauling Company (Jesup) dump truck traveled approximately 142 feet on the west shoulder before overturning onto its passenger side.
Worthy was transported to Southeast Georgia Health Center in Brunswick.
