Three die in Brantley wreck

SCHLATTERVILLE — Three people were killed and another was transported for injuries suffered last week after two vehicles were involved in a head-on collision and one struck by a following semi.

Georgia State Patrol Trooper First Class Three Chase Middleton was the first trooper o n scene of the Monday, May 19, threevehicle crash involving a Ford F150 pickup, a Ford Taurus and a Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV — semi) on State Route 520 near High Bluff Road in western Brantley County.

GSP Trooper Dakota Blake Metts with the Brunswick post, Motor Carrier Compliance Division (MCCD) Sgt. Derek Strickland, and MCCD Trooper William Jennings responded to assist with the 11:10 p.m. crash.
