Brad Erin Crews, 50, of Patterson, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2025, in Patterson.
Born September 12, 1974, in Waycross, he was a son of Bobby Joel Crews and Charlotte Chancey Thrift. He lived most of his life in Pierce County and was employed with L & L Utilities, Inc. in East Dublin. He was a member of Patterson Baptist Church.
He had a great love for the outdoors and appreciated the beauty in all of nature. His interests included fishing and gardening and he could do anything he put his mind to and do it well. He had a passionate heart for the elderly and animals.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mauldin and Dorothy Chancey with whom he had a special bond and his paternal grandparents, J.L. and Myrtle Crews.
Survivors include his son, Joseph Ty Crews, Gainesville, FL; mother, Charlotte Chancey Thrift, Blackshear; father and stepmother, Bobby and Patty Crews, Patterson; two sisters, Shawn Crews Smith, Blackshear and Jena Crews, Patterson; brother, Bryan M. Crews, Patterson; four nieces, Parker Smith, Addison Smith, Aly Crews and Angelee Crews; two aunts, Mary Lou Higginbotham, Dinsmore, FL and Betty Crews, Screven; two uncles, Stanley Crews, Waycross and Lowell King, Starke, FL; special friends, Kirk Lewis, Dublin, Hank Steverson, Dublin and Michele Douberly, Patterson and several cousins and other relatives.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
