Joseph Robin Daniels, infant son of Jonathan Andrew and Jamie Rebecca Schoonmaker Daniels, joined Jesus in Heaven Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at the Medical College of Georgia’s Wellstar Hospital in Augusta.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Rylin Daniels and by his aunt, Jennifer Sauls.
In addition to his parents, survivors include four sisters, Natalie, Ashlyn, Haley, and Hannah Daniels, all of Blackshear; two brothers, Nathan and Luke Daniels, both of Blackshear; his maternal grandparents, Robert and Margaret Schoonmaker, Lake Park; his paternal grandparents, John and Charlotte Daniels, Blackshear; his uncle, Bryan (Caroline) Daniels, Durham, NC; six cousins, Aubrey Schoonmaker, Bobby Warren, Patricia Warren, Benjamin Daniels, Lily Daniels, and Violet Daniels and several other relatives and friends that loved him dearly even though they didn’t get to meet him.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday, May 23, at Emmanuel Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, May 24, from the Emmanuel Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Stone officiating.
A private burial will be held at the Blackshear Cemetery.
